New westbound Nalley Valley bridges connecting I-5 and SR 16 in Tacoma are under construction now. Learn more about the project.

Temporary eastbound roadway under construction.

Later in November, eastbound SR 16 traffic shifts to a temporary roadway. The traffic shift allows crews to progress with bridge construction while keeping traffic moving. The temporary roadway is under construction in the foreground of this photo.
