I-405 Congestion Relief and Bus Rapid Transit Projects- Final Environmental Impact Statement

A Collaborative Effort
The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) issuance marked a major step toward implementing the I-405 Projects, a regional strategy to fix one of the most congested freeways in the state. The FEIS documents the work of a unique partnership between all the local jurisdictions, elected officials and agencies within the I-405 corridor. The FEIS completed three-years of technical work and consensus building, producing the most comprehensive transportation analysis in the state's history. The environmental review process provides the public and decision-makers with all relevant information related to the impacts of proposed I-405 improvements. Public comments received during the Draft EIS public review period are also addressed in the document.

Addendum & Errata
The Washington State Department of Transportation has issued an addendum and errata to the I-405 Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). This document contains additional correspondence not found within the Final EIS. Also included are revisions to Appendix B, Figure B-6 and Figure 2.2-6. The revisions to the appendix and figures correct inaccuracies in the description of the Preferred Alternative.

The inclusion of the correspondence, revised figures and revised appendix does not add or increase any significant adverse environmental impacts to the environmental impacts already evaluated in the Final EIS.
