SR 99 MAINLINE AND RAMP CLOSURES IN SEATTLE

March 26: The northbound SR 99 off-ramp to Alaskan Way and downtown will be closed 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. for concrete sealing work.

North of Denny Way
Aurora Avenue North remains reduced to 1 lane in each direction between Denny Way and Harrison Street for North Surface Street construction
March 10: Elliott Avenue between Lenora and Wall streets is temporarily a two-way street while part of Elliott Avenue is closed for viaduct demolition work.
March 10: Battery Street between Elliott Avenue and Western Avenue is temporarily a two-way street while the intersection of Western Avenue and Bell Street is closed for viaduct demolition work.
March 13: The middle lane of 6th and 5th avenues between Bell and Wall streets will be closed 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. for underground utility work. Work expected to last until about March 28.
March 29: The middle two lanes of 4th and 3rd avenues between Bell and Wall streets will be closed 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. for underground utility work. Work expected to last one to two weeks.
March 4: Alaskan Way narrowed to two lanes between Yesler Way and Marion Street for nearby viaduct demolition work. During this time, southbound left turns on Yesler will be restricted to keep the intersection in front of Fire Station 5 clear. Left turns onto King Street will be allowed.
March 30-31: The Marion Street Pedestrian Bridge will be closed while crews remove parts of the viaduct above and adjacent to the bridge.
March: Western Avenue between Marion and Columbia streets will be closed for building the new temporary pedestrian bridge.
Crews have begun removing the Alaskan Way Viaduct. Visit the work tracker to see current work locations.

No closures planned at this time.
