SR 99 Corridor

Friday, June 6 – Monday, June 9

  • Crews will close all lanes of southbound SR 99 between Denny Way and South Spokane Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The right lane of southbound SR 99 between South King and South Atlantic streets and the southbound SR 99 off-ramp to South Atlantic Street will close at 7 p.m. Friday.

Saturday, June 7

  • Crews will shift traffic on the South Atlantic Street overpass at East Marginal Way South from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. No lanes will be closed.

Monday, June 9 – Thursday, June 12

  • Crews will close the South Atlantic Street overpass between South Atlantic Street and East Marginal Way South from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. Closures will start two hours after the end of Mariners home games.

Monday, June 9 – Tuesday, June 10

  • Crews will close the right lane of southbound SR 99 from South King Street to South Atlantic Street and the South Atlantic Street off-ramp from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.

Wednesday, June 11 – Thursday, June 12

  • Crews will close the left lane of southbound SR 99 from South King Street to South Atlantic Street and the South Atlantic Street off-ramp from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.

Regional

Friday, June 6 – Monday, June 9

  • Crews will close both directions of SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard East and I-405 from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

  • Crews will reduce northbound I-5 to two lanes of traffic through the Spokane Street interchange from 9:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

North

Through June

  • Mercer Project crews will close Eighth Avenue North around-the-clock between Republican and Mercer Streets. Local access will be provided via Republican Street.

  • Mercer Project crews will close Thomas Street around-the-clock on weekdays between Broad Street and Taylor Avenue North.

Through fall 2014

  • Dexter Avenue North is reduced to one lane in each direction around-the-clock between Thomas and Mercer streets. A separate bicycle lane will be maintained during peak commute hours.

South

Long-term closure

  • Seattle City Light crews will reduce First Avenue South by one lane in each direction between South Atlantic Street and Railroad Way South from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. Crews will not close lanes on days with major events at the stadiums.
