SR 28 East End George Sellar Bridge Exhibits

The concrete intersection installation at SR 28 and Grant Rd. will impact traffic for  approximately 3 weeks from May 5 to May 24.  There will be a different detour configuration for each of three stages of work.

Detour Stage #1 - May 5 at 8 p.m. to May 15

Stage 1 will reconstruct the western half of the SR 28/Grant
Rd Intersection. During construction this area will be
closed to traffic.

Traffic routes during the Stage 1 closure:

• All Northbound traffic will use SR 28 and all southbound
traffic will use the Bypass.

• Traffic traveling from Wenatchee to East Wenatchee, via the
George Sellar Br., will be detoured onto the SR 28 East Bypass or
the SR 28 West loop ramp.

• Traffic traveling from Quincy toward Wenatchee or East
Wenatchee will not be able to turn left at Grant Rd.

• Fred Meyer and Hobby Lobby customers will need to use the
Bypass or 3rd St.

• Traffic traveling from Grant Rd. to Wenatchee will have no
restrictions

• Traffic traveling from Grant Rd. to Quincy will be detoured
onto Rock Island Rd to 3rd St.

Detour Stage #2 - May 15 to May 24 at 6 a.m.

Stage 2 will reconstruct the eastern half of the SR 28/Grant
Rd. Intersection. During construction this area will be
closed to traffic.

Traffic routes during the Stage 2 closure:

• All northbound traffic will use SR 28 and all southbound traffic
will use the Bypass.

• Traffic traveling from Wenatchee to East Wenatchee, via the Sen. 
George Sellar Bridge, will be detoured onto the SR 28 East Bypass or
the SR 28 West loop ramp.

• Traffic traveling from Quincy toward Wenatchee or East
Wenatchee will not be able to turn right at Grant Rd.

• Traffic traveling from Grant Rd. to Wenatchee will be detoured
onto Rock Island Rd. to 3rd St.

• Traffic traveling from Grant Rd. to Quincy will be detoured
onto Rock Island Rd. to 3rd St.

Detour Stage #3 - May 17 at 8 p.m. to May 21 at 6 a.m.

Stage 3 will reconstruct the Grant Rd/Valley Mall Pkwy and
Rock Island Rd Intersection. Stage 3 will be constructed
over a 4 day period and constructed in conjunction with
Stage 2. During construction this area will be closed to
traffic.

Traffic routes during the Stage 3 closure:

• All northbound traffic will use SR 28 and all southbound traffic
will use the Bypass.

• Traffic traveling from Wenatchee to East Wenatchee, via the
George Sellar Br., will be detoured onto the SR 28 East Bypass
or the SR 28 West loop ramp.

• Traffic traveling from Quincy toward East Wenatchee will not
be able to turn right at Grant Rd.

• Traffic traveling on Grant Rd. to Wenatchee or Quincy will be
detoured onto Highline Dr. to 3rd St.

• Traffic traveling from Orondo to Grant Rd. will be detoured
onto 9th St. to Eastmont Ave.

• Traffic traveling from Quincy to Grant Rd. will be detoured
onto 3rd St. to Highline Dr.
