The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Communications & Wireless Technology office provides  communications system planning, analysis and design. It also provides site, project and asset management.

What does the ITS Communications office do?

  • Provides engineering services (Path and Interference analysis) for wireless applications
  • System design and documentation
  • State Interpretability Executive Committee (SIEC) point of contact for wireless applications and license activity
  • Design last mile connectivity to ITS devices
  • Project management of the wireless activity
  • Coordinate regional radio staff
  • Inventory ITS device connectivity
