Take Amtrak Cascades to Seahawks front door for NFL Kickoff Sept. 4
Trains will sell out and reservations are required

SEATTLE –The 2014 NFL Kickoff charges into Seattle on Sept. 4 with a day of events that will make you thankful you planned ahead. Avoid the closed streets and the traffic congestion and arrive at CenturyLink Field in style aboard Amtrak Cascades.

Trains will sell out and reservations are required. WSDOT doesn’t want anyone left on a platform who didn’t plan ahead. Make your reservations now at www.AmtrakCascades.com.

“This is going to be a world-class event and we are very excited to help fans celebrate the start of the Seahawks regular season,” said WSDOT Rail Division Director Ron Pate. “However, we want to make sure everyone knows that trains will sell out so they need to make a reservation ahead of time.”

The afternoon’s events begin at 2:30 p.m. with a free concert featuring Soundgarden and Pharrell Williams in the North Lot of CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks and Green Bay Packers kickoff the NFL season at 5:30 p.m.

Amtrak Cascades runs four round trips between Seattle and Portland, two round trips between Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia, and two round trips between Portland and Eugene, Ore.
