Two major highway construction zones in Tacoma

TACOMA – WSDOT is planning a busy weekend of construction in Pierce County. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time, consider alternate routes and check travel plans on our Web site before hitting the highway.

Scheduled construction work is weather-dependent and crews are closely monitoring forecasts. Completing work over the weekend minimizes impacts to drivers by avoiding the weekdays when traffic volumes are higher.
