NEWS RELEASE - NOON, THURSDAY NOV. 12
SEATTLE
The Tacoma is currently out of service as crews perform repairs to the vessel’s steering system. The Walla Walla has moved from the Seattle/Bremerton route to the Seattle/Bainbridge route to cover service while repairs on the Tacoma are completed.

Customers should anticipate that we will be on a one boat schedule on the Seattle/Bremerton route today, Thursday, Nov. 12, but we will be back on a two-boat schedule tomorrow morning, Friday, Nov. 13 for the start of service.

The Sealth is undergoing an annual inspection at Eagle Harbor today. WSF is checking with its Port Engineers and the U.S. Coast Guard on the availability of this vessel for service on the Seattle/Bremerton route later today once the inspection is complete.

Customers should check e-mail alerts and the WSF Web site (www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries) throughout the day as this situation is progressing. Information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
