KENNEWICK – Drivers traveling on US 395 and SR 240 need to add more time to their commute starting Thursday, April 2.

The contractor will be building a detour on SR 240 in preparation to shift traffic when work to build the new bridge on US 395 over SR 240 begins, which means drivers traveling on southbound US 395 will not be able use the SR 240 westbound off ramp. Drivers on SR 240 eastbound will not be able to access northbound US 395. Electronic message boards and detour signs will direct traffic around the closures.

These closures will start on Thursday, April 2 at 9 p.m. and last until Monday, April 6, at 5:30 a.m.
