DECEPTION PASS – Crews will trim trees along SR 20 between Rosario Road and Quiet Cove Road, north of Deception Pass. To ensure the safety of crews and drivers, the work will be done during the day.
Drivers should expect delays during this work, especially between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. and noon and 1 p.m. Delays could be 10 minutes or longer. Drivers are advised to plan ahead, leave early and pack a little patience while crews are in the area.
Closure information
- Monday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, March 5 - Crews will close one lane Mondays through Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Flaggers will alternate traffic through the work zone.
The work is being done by Asplundh Tree Expert Company for Puget Sound Energy, and is intended to reduce tree-related power outages.
