BLAINE – Crews will close part of SR 548 (Blaine Road) Feb. 11 and 12 to repair a damaged culvert. January flooding caused a section of earth to erode and destabilize a wall supporting the culvert.

Maintenance crews will close SR 548 at Bay Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 11 and 12, as they use a crane to replace rock behind the culvert wall.

Southbound traffic will be detoured east on Bay Road to Kickerville Road, then south on Kickerville back to Grandview Road. Northbound traffic will be sent east on Grandview to Kickerville, north on Kickerville to Bay Road, west on Bay to Blaine Road.

Truck drivers and others needing to access the BP refinery are strongly encouraged to take Grandview Road east to I-5, or I-5 north or south to the Grandview Road exit (266) to avoid any delays.
