Traffic Advisory
WSDOT restricts northbound lane on US 395 and Columbia Drive on-ramp near Blue Bridge Jan. 27
Northbound delays likely, consider alternate routes
PASCO– Weather permitting, WSDOT maintenance crews will close the right lane of northbound US 395 just south of the Blue Bridge and the interchange on-ramp from Columbia Drive to US 395 while crews repair guardrail and bridge lighting. The closures will last from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Drivers should “Give ‘em a brake” by slowing down and following the orange signs, cones, barrels and electronic message boards that will guide them into the left lane through the construction zone. To avoid delays, drivers should consider alternate routes. Work times were chosen to minimize traffic disruptions.
Southbound traffic will not be affected.

The US 395 Blue Bridge is a heavily travelled north-south freight and commuter route that connects Pasco and Kennewick. Lane changes and merging difficulties contribute to frequent collisions in this area. An interchange reconstruction project is planned to improve traffic flow and safety in this area.
