SHORELINE – Roads in King and Skagit counties remain blocked due to landslides. Drivers can check their route before they go by calling 5-1-1.

King County

  • SR 123 at SR 410 – WSDOT crews have closed SR 123 from SR 410 to SR 12 due to multiple washouts. There is no estimate to reopening the road.
  • SR 169 at the Green River – WSDOT engineers and WSP closed the SR 169 Kummer Bridge over the Green River near Black Diamond at 3:19 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, after geotechnical experts detected possible small movements in the soil holding up the bridge. Preliminary reports show that the bridge is not moving. The Kummer Bridge will remain closed to traffic while further tests are conducted.
  • SR 410 at the Greenwater River (milepost 39), east of Enumclaw – All lanes were reopened Friday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. The 300-foot long landslide that blocked the road since Wednesday night has been cleared.

Skagit County

  • SR 11 – A three-mile section of Chuckanut Drive (SR 11) will remain closed for several weeks after a rockslide Monday, Nov. 10, sent boulders the size of cars crashing onto the road south of Bellingham.
