OLYMPIA – The heavy rain has passed, but flood waters may continue to rise throughout the day. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, drive for conditions and expect water over several area roads.

Drivers can check their route before they go at www.wsdot.wa.gov/News/Update. WSDOT will update this Web site as conditions change. Updated travel information is also available by calling 5-1-1.

As of this hour, WSDOT has closures and traffic restricted at the following locations:

Cowlitz County:

Exit 22 on I-5 is open; it was closed overnight due to high water.

Grays Harbor County:

US 101 - Water over the roadway near Salmon Creek in the Artic vicinity (milepost 69 ).
Southbound US 101 – Crews have spotted water over the roadway near North River Road (milepost 74 ) near Artic, but the highway remains open.
Northbound SR 107 – Crews are working to clear a slide near Montesano (MP 6). The right lane is open and crews are alternating traffic through the work zone.
SR 108 – Water over the roadway at the Grays Harbor county line and at Maxwell Hill. WSDOT crews are on scene. The roadway is passable.

King County:

SR 202 – Reopened at 8 a.m., but there is still some water over the roadway.
SR 203 - The highway was closed from Fall City to Carnation. It opened at 11 a.m.
SR 203 – The highway is closed from 70th and 77th Street just north of Carnation due to water over the roadway.
SR 169 at Green River Bridge - WSDOT engineers and WSP closed the SR 169 Kummer Bridge over the Green River near Black Diamond at 3:19 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, after geotechnical experts detected small movements in the soil holding up the bridge. Bridge and soil experts have been dispatched to the area to assess the situation, and hope to have a full report on Friday.
SR 410 – The highway is closed at the Greenwater River east of Enumclaw. Crews are working to clear a 100 foot-long landslide.

Lewis County:

SR 131 – The highway is closed due to flooding of the Cowlitz River in eastern Lewis County.
SR 508 – Crews restricted at milepost 18 due to high water. Road is currently passable.
US 12 – Closed at milepost 115 due to flooding of the Cowlitz River in eastern Lewis County.

Pacific County:

US 101 – The highway is open in Raymond; it had been reduced to a single lane in each direction at milepost 58 due to high water since yesterday morning.

Pierce County:

SR 410 - Crews re-opened SR 410 through Sumner this morning.
SR 162 – The highway is restricted to local traffic only from Orville Road to South Prairie (milepost 11 to 17) near Orting due to flooding over the roadway.
SR 165 – There is water over the roadway at Fettig Road in the Burnett vicinity (MP 19 to 19.1), but the highway remains open.

Skagit County:

State Route 11- The highway is closed due to a rockslide from milepost 11 to 13 (just south of the Whatcom/ Skagit County line).

Wahkiakum County:

SR 4 – The highway is restricted from milepost 13.5 to 17.5 due to flooding of the Grays River. The road is passable and crews are mopping up from last night.
