WSDOT restricts lanes on I-182 and SR 240 for sign inspections Oct. 20, 21 in the Tri-Cities

Drivers should plan for delays and consider alternate routes.

PASCO – On Monday, October 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., WSDOT maintenance crews will restrict one eastbound lane on I-182 between the 4th Avenue Interchange and the junction with US 395 in Pasco. Crews will be inspecting the big green signs mounted on the sign bridges above the highway.

On Tuesday, October 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., WSDOT maintenance crews will restrict the two right eastbound lanes on SR 240 between the Richland Wye Interchange and the Columbia Center Blvd. Interchange near Kennewick. Crews will be inspecting the big green signs mounted on a sign bridge above the highway.

Drivers need to slow down and be alert as they approach the orange signs, cones, barrels and electronic message boards that will direct traffic into the open lanes through the work zone.
