PURDY – Open houses scheduled for tonight and Wednesday night are intended to give community members an opportunity to learn about the progress of WSDOT’s State Route 302 Corridor Study and provide feedback to the project team.
SR 302 is an important east-west link for Key Peninsula-area residents, connecting SR 3 to SR 16. As this region continues to develop, the issues of safety and congestion on the area’s highway system here become increasingly important.
To address these concerns, WSDOT is studying the SR 302 corridor from Key Peninsula Highway to SR 16. The study evaluates the environmental impacts of creating a new corridor and improving safety and mobility on the existing corridor.
