PORT ANGELES – A funeral procession for a slain forest service officer closes westbound US 101 (East Front Street) in Port Angeles for about an hour on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008.

The roadway closes between Masters Road and South Race Street at 11 a.m. The closure is expected to last about an hour. A detour route is not planned and motorists should expect significant delays.

Additionally, motorists traveling eastbound on US 101 should expect delays while the procession crosses eastbound US 101 (East First Street) at South Race Street and continues south.
