Drivers should plan ahead for the following closures:

  • Thursday, Sept. 11 –Friday, Sept. 12 - Crews will close the two left lanes of northbound I-5 from the 128th Street bridge to the 112th Street bridge from 7 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.
  • Thursday, Sept. 11 –Friday, Sept. 12 – Crews will close the two left lanes of southbound I-5 from SR 526 to the 112th Street bridge from 7 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

This work is part of the new Sound Transit South Everett Freeway Station, which is scheduled to open Sunday, Sept. 21. New ramps will allow buses, carpools and vanpools to go directly to and from the I-5 HOV lanes to a new 400-stall park-and-ride lot located in the median at 112th Street SE. Drivers traveling alone can access the new park-and-ride lot from 112th Street SE. For more information, visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/i5/SouthEverett
