WSDOT restricts traffic to one lane westbound on I-90 through the Snowshed east of Snoqualmie Pass

Drivers should plan for delays

Snoqualmie Pass – On Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. WSDOT will restrict traffic to the right westbound lane in the Snowshed (6 miles east of the summit) as maintenance crews clear debris from the catch basin drains.

Drivers need to slow down and be alert as they approach the orange signs, cones, and electronic message sign that will direct traffic into the right westbound lane through the work zone.

Eastbound traffic will not be affected.

Drivers can now get current traffic and weather information by dialing 5-1-1 from most phones. This new traveler information system builds upon the highly successful Washington State Highway hotline that managed 4.6 million calls each year. Callers can also use 5-1-1 to get statewide construction, mountain pass condition, and state ferry system information, as well as toll free numbers for passenger rail and airlines. TTY users can call 1-800-833-6388.
