BURLINGTON – Drivers can expect delays Thursday morning at the northbound I-5/State Route 20 interchange in Burlington.
As part of the ongoing widening project, crews will need to remove the permanent signal at the northbound I-5 off-ramp to SR 20 and replace it with a temporary signal. Crews will switch off the permanent signal and turn on the temporary signal between 9 and 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.
Flaggers and State Patrol troopers will be on hand to direct traffic. Delays are likely.
Drivers are advised to use the northbound off-ramp directly before exit 230 to access SR 20 or nearby Burlington streets. Exit 229 (George Hopper Road) is within a mile of the SR 20 interchange.
