PURDY – Crews will restrict State Route 302 near the Purdy Spit in Pierce County to a single lane Sunday, June 22 to allow for guardrail-replacement work. An oversized load struck the guardrail earlier in the year.

Drivers should expect one-way, alternating between 4 a.m. and 3 p.m. Delays are anticipated.

WSDOT bridge crews will also perform a routine biennial inspection of the span. This stretch of highway averages 12,000 vehicles daily.

Drivers can call 511 or visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/ for traffic updates.
