OLYMPIA – Brainstorming continues on the matter of improving mobility for cars, buses, bicycles and pedestrians on Olympia’s west side.

Potential scenarios will be discussed at two open houses set for June 5 and 9 at Olympia’s Jefferson Middle School, 2200 Conger Ave. N.W. Both meetings are from 6 to 9 p.m.

The open houses are hosted by the City of Olympia and WSDOT, which are partnering in an effort called the West Olympia Access Study to better understand current and future mobility issues in West Olympia.

This is an opportunity for citizens to find out what changes transportation engineers and planners are considering and how those option are being evaluated.

The open houses are designed to let attendees focus on their particular areas of interest and to get specific questions answered. No formal presentations are scheduled.
