SR 224 (Van Giesen) : lane restrictions Thursday will delay traffic at intersection with SR 240 in Richland Mileposts: 9.6

On Thursday, April 24, WSDOT crews will close one lane at a time on all four lanes of SR 224 (Van Giesen) to apply pavement markings for railroad crossings and stop bars. No lane will be closed for more than one hour. To minimize the disruption to commuters, work hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers need to slow down and be alert as they approach this intersection. Signs, cones, and possibly flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
