SEATTLE - On Sunday morning, Feb. 24, several thousand bicyclists are expected to fill a part of each ferry sailing from Seattle to Bainbridge as part of the Cascade Bicycle Club's Annual Chilly Hilly bicycle event.

It will be a sea of color as the bicyclists are loaded onto the ferries at Colman Dock beginning with the 7:55 a.m. sailing to Bainbridge Island for the ride. More than 3,000 cyclists are expected to make the 33 miles journey in the unofficial first ride of the bicycle season.

Ferry customers can expect less vehicle capacity on morning sailings from Seattle to Bainbridge and from Bainbridge to Seattle in the afternoon as bicyclists return from the event.
