Tolling on the SR 520 Bridge started in December 2011. Tolling is all-electronic; there are no toll booths. Drivers with a Good To Go! Pass save $1.50 in tolls each time when crossing. You can also set up a Pay By Plate account by registering your license plate. Those without a Good To Go! account — such as visitors or infrequent users — will receive a bill in the mail. The SR 167 High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes between Renton and Auburn are HOV lanes (for carpools of two or more, vanpools and buses) that are also open to toll-paying solo drivers, providing a faster, more reliable trip.
