Species

The following species have been identified by the USFWS to occur in the State of Washington. The WSDOT Environmental Services Office is dedicated to the protection of these species and their respective habitats.  

The USFWS provides species lists for actions authorized, funded or carried out by federal agencies. The species list fulfills the requirement, under section 7(c) of the ESA, to provide a list of threatened and endangered species upon request for federal actions and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance. To request a list for one or more counties, or a project area, access the USFWS IPaC webpage.
