Consultant prequalification

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) solicits interest from consultants who wish to be prequalified to provide professional services for WSDOT. Firms that complete the prequalification process will be eligible to compete for select WSDOT projects.

Consultant Services accepts consultant prequalification applications year-round. Review the current advertisement link below to see which categories are best suited for your firm. When ready, you can start the application process from the same link.

Prequalification forms

Upon acceptance of the prequalification application (item 1 below), consultants must submit financial information to complete the process. The prequalification award letter requests items two through five below along with the firm’s approved indirect cost rate (ICR)

The WSDOT Internal Audit Office reviews a firm’s ICR for all WSDOT projects to include the prequalification roster. See the audit office page for information on the ICR review steps and forms to submit for review.

If a firm is unfamiliar with the ICR, they may want to consider the safe harbor program. Information about this program is also available on the audit office page.
